At approximately 7 kg a 10 mm thick edge, the solid cast iron construction offers excellent heat retention, helping maintain a reliable cooking surface over the changing heat of a wood fire.

The 480 mm width matches the FlatMate Fire Pit, allowing the hotplate to sit across the top edges of the assembled fire pit to create a solid outdoor cooking surface.

Important: Always confirm the hotplate is correctly and securely positioned before cooking. Cast iron becomes extremely hot during use and can remain hot for a considerable time after the fire has died down.
