Meet the FlatMate Fire Pit
Built for backyards, camping trips, sheds and weekends away, the FlatMate Fire Pit combines a solid steel fire pit with a practical flatpack design.
Made from 3.0 mm BlueScope mild steel, the FlatMate breaks down into five pieces for easier transport and storage, then slots back together when you're ready to use it.

Choose the original FlatMate design, personalise one with a name or message, or talk to us about creating custom artwork for a gift, business, club or special occasion.
Australian Designed and Made-to-Order
The FlatMate Fire Pit is designed and manufactured in Australia by Upper Cut Co.

Its five-piece interlocking construction has been developed to create a strong, stable fire pit without complicated assembly. Each FlatMate is cut and finished to order in our NSW workshop rather than pulled from a container of mass-produced stock.

A growing range of compatible accessories is also available, including cast iron cooking plates and grills, carry bags, fire-resistant mats, height extensions and rotisserie kits.
Made in the Workshop. Not Mass Produced.
FlatMate Fire Pits are made to order by Upper Cut Co using locally sourced BlueScope mild steel.

We cut, clean and finish each fire pit in our NSW workshop, giving us the flexibility to produce our standard designs as well as personalised and custom orders.

Making them ourselves also means we're not limited to what's sitting on a warehouse shelf. Names, text, logos, silhouettes and custom artwork can all be incorporated into the design, subject to artwork suitability and approval.

The result is a practical Australian-made fire pit that can be kept simple or made genuinely personal.
